Standard II did a project on transportation machines used on roads.  Hindi, Maths, English, Music and social studies were all related to this topic.  The children learned about the sources of energy and that all transport uses energy.  This brought them to understand the advantages and disadvantages of using vehicles without engine.  They also went for several field trips for better understanding and hands on experience.  These field trips wee made to the petrol pump, bus depot, Mercedes work shop etc.  The children learned about the journey of petrol form the rigs to the petrol pump.  It was a great learning experience for them as well as us!!
