Dear Parents,

The staff and students of Bombay International School take great pleasure in inviting you for the Founders' Day Programme, which is scheduled on August ir  at the Sophia Bhabha Hall at 5:30 p.m.

In order that the seating is filled to capacity and to- avoid any disappointment, the procedure for invitation cards is-as follows :

1.      Each pass will admit two.

2.      Parents of Std.V-X will receive one complimentary pass,  which will be sent in  

         advance with   the students. If this is lost or misplaced, a spare one will be issued  

         only on payment.

3.     BIS siblings of children participating in the show are welcome to attend the show,                        complimentary. Std. Ill - IV will sit with middle and senior school participants in the  

         balcony. Std. I  II and LP.- U.P. will sit with their parents in the auditorium.

4.     Complimentary passes will be given to parents from L.P. to  Std IV on a first

         cum first served basis  (depending on availability ) on Wednesday 9  and    

         Thursday 10th August.  Please collect them from Mr. Mangesh Tumkar (office)

          between 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Please take these passes only if you plan to

         attend the show.

 5.     Extra guests of students from Std.V - X may be admitted on payment of Rs.200/

         per guest before Wednesday 9th August.  As an effort to be more environment

         friendly, the students have suggested that you send the pass back to the office.

        An entry will be made on payment to admit an additional person on the same pass

        / card, thus saving paper.

 Please take your seats 10 minutes before the show and kindly refrain from :

 1.      Bringing in personal cameras (still & video).

 2.      Using mobile phones.

 3.      Bringing eatables inside the auditorium.

 Violation of any of the above may lead to disciplinary action taken against the school by

 the Management of the Sophia Bhabha Hall.

 The children of middle and senior school will be informed about the arrangements for the

 Technical Rehearsal well before August 10th 2006.

 There will be no school for alt the children from L.P. to Std-X on Friday, 11th August 2006.

Dear Parents,

The management of the Sophia Bhabha Hall has agreed to allow us to use the auditorium ONLY from 2:00 p.m. on 10th August. This is a new rule which has been established for ALL schools and we will need to co-operate with the management. Please adhere to the following:

          1. NO ONE is permitted to bring ANY eatables into the auditorium.

2. Kindly come half an hour before the time slot allocated. Parents please refrain from coming to the auditorium on 10th August as the auditorium doors will be kept locked and only those parents who are directly involved with production will be allowed inside.

There may be delays in spite of our best efforts. Please be patient while coming to pick up your children.

                Std. VI                 2.00 p.m-2:45 p.m.

                Std. V. X             2:45 p.m.-4:45 p.m.

                Std. VIII                4.45p.m.-5:30 p.m.

                Std. VII, IX           5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

 3. On 11th August parents are not allowed to sit upstairs in the balcony. Students will be looked after by    the teachers. Students are not allowed to leave in the middle of the show, and alt students must stay until the end.

4. Only persons with invitation cards will be admitted into the auditorium. Seats are based on availability. As an initiative to be environmentally friendly, we request that you send your pass to the office for additional entry "stamps" at the rate of Rs.200/- per person.

5. The programme will begin at 5:30 p.m. sharp. Late comers will not be admitted into the auditorium while an item is being performed. Hence please come on time and enjoy the show.

6. No cameras or video cameras are permitted during the show. The official photographer and videographer will be there and you may confirm your copies of the VCD with your class mother. Please ensure that mobile phones are switched off during the show.

All the classes have worked very hard. We trust that you will co-operate with us to make Founders' Day 2006 a tremendous success.
