The school bus service will be available from the morning that school reopens to children from Upper Prep to Std. 10.  Lower Prep children are permitted to travel on the bus on the way back home provided they have an older sibling already traveling on that route.  Those who wish to join the bus service should begin by filling out the following application and handing it over to Ms. Navaz Master at the school office.  Once received, the Bus committee will get back to you in 2 working days to let you know the status of your application.  Late and unreturned replies will run the risk of not finding  a seat on the bus.

A 2-tier rate system has been introduced since July 2005 based on the distance traveled to/from school. These rate revisions and application structure have been implemented in the interest of fairness to all who are using our bus system, and the Contractors who are subject to the rising costs of providing transport in the city, and in accordance with the existing arrangements in other South Mumbai schools.  They are as follows:

Inner Circle Rate Rs.460/-:  If the stop distance is within the radius of B.I.S. to the CCI Club on the south-bound routes and B.I.S. to Haji Ali Junction on the north-bound routes. One-way rate Rs. 230/-.

Outer Circle Rate Rs.480/-:  If the stop distance extends beyond the Inner Circle radius in any direction.  One-way rate Rs. 240/-.

Only LP and UP children are entitled to a 1-way fare.  As a school policy, where a two-way route is being provided, it shall be charged such even if the student opts for the bus only one-way.

Please look at Attachment 1 for a detailed listing of routes and stops.  The Bus Committee may at their discretion alter the routes/stops to serve the best interests of all children on that particular route.  Before school closes for the year, parents will be given their respective route list indicating time and point of pick up and drop.
