STEP FORWARD FOR A CAUSE!

As part of the Creativity, Action and Service component of the Diploma Programme, our IB students are participating in the Dream Run as part of the Standard Chartered Marathon’s Student Challenge in January 2015. The students are raising funds to support Muktangan, an NGO that provides quality, child-centred, inclusive English-medium schooling to thousands of underprivileged children in Mumbai. BIS has a long association with Muktangan and our IB students have engaged with them as a part of their service activity planning lessons for students and assisting teachers with learning aids. Students are planning to raise Rs 50,000 for 5 bibs and thereafter, with every additional Rs 10,000 we get an additional bib.

As part of the fund-raising activities for this cause, our IB students have designed a range of bespoke merchandise for you.

The items on sale are:

Personalised Painted Shoes: you can have your own custom-painted shoes with a design of your choice. So whether you are a Pokemon fan and like our Pikashoes, or you love Mumbai and want a pair of Metropolitan Madness shoes – you name it. Our talented designing team will paint your favourite shoes especially for you.

Zany Zentangled mugs, coasters, mats and name plates: Zentangling is a trademark method of creating the most zazzy and zippy patterns that can be transferred on mugs, coasters, placemats and even name plates.

Shoes: Get your own pair of canvas shoes with a design you want or choose from the ones we have. Drop your shoes off with the contact persons mentioned below or with the IB office on the ground floor. Please ensure you make cash payment upon placing your order.

Other merchandise: Contact the persons below or come to the IB office on the ground floor to place your order.

All this fabulous merchandise can be yours for a very reasonable cost. Remember, not only are these limited edition products but also when you buy one of these products you are contributing to an excellent cause.
