BIS is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. We offer the Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination which ensures a well-rounded education. The students sit for examinations in six subjects. They are also required to fulfill Socially Useful Productive Work.

This is a competitive examination conducted all over India. The ICSE examination is recognized by all the national (ISC, HSC, CBSE) or international boards (University of Cambridge A Levels or IBDP).

Students choose subjects from the following three groups:

Group I (Compulsory)

• English Language and Literature
• Hindi
• Social Studies (History, Civics and Geography)

Group II

• Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) Or Environmental Science
• Mathematics Or Commercial Studies

Group III (Students choose any one of these subjects)

• Art
• Yoga
• Computer Applications
