Boards / Curriculum

BIS prides itself on its incomparable learning style with relatively informal classes and a unique method of facilitating understanding in the classroom. A diverse range of subjects are offered thus implementing one of our most sound and age-honoured truisms, “The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity,” as the reputed psychiatrist Carl Jung so brilliantly put it. Different boards are offered to serve the different learning needs of a wide variety of students. In their ninth year, the students can choose between the ICSE and the IGCSE boards. As of 2011, we have introduced the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), and added Year 11 and 12 to the school. As of 2017, we are also an Authorised IB PYP school.
