Air, water, rail – modes of transport that help us to travel and stay connected. That exactly what we upper preppies did. We traveled the globe, even to outer space in our minds, connected our thoughts, used our imagination to craft and create our very own toy modes of transport with used boxes, tins, cartons etc.

The project started with fun and frolic on fieldtrips to the INS Vikrant and a Railway station one of our class papa’s who is a pilot come to school to tell us all about planes.

In school, we made bottle submarine, rockets, paper boat and ships.Crayon box trains  & much more .

We enacted the scene at the railway station where we were the passengers and also the T.C. coolies and vendors. Our teachers & mummies helped to dress up and play our part. We the budding authors of upper prep wrote & illustrated our very own stories too.

At the end of this exciting month we satisfied our palates with brownies, biscuits engines, bread tomato cheese slice trains, bun breadsticks rockets and submarines Yum Yum Yum.
